2WD Brushless ARRMA Granite or 4X4 Brushed Stampede

Hi All


Funds are such that I'm looking at either of these two options.


Seems my local store holds ARRMA spares which is useful, although I don't expect the ARRMA brand will allow for much bolt on upgrades. The ARRMA is however 2WD but brushless. I like the look of the ARRMA more


The Stampede has readily available spares and upgrades off the shelf. It's 4WD but not brushless. I'm not as big of a fan of the Stampede look.


I think the biggest difference is obviously the 2WD vs 4WD, I have read the ARRMA is tougher.


Which should I get?

The Granite looks pretty good with it's twin vertical plate design. I'm still a fan of Traxxas, but the Stampede is extremely dated.

I'd go 2WD brushless over 4WD brushed any day :D

Here's another one for ya

A 4x4 brushless stampede has just popped up near me, bought in feb this year with minimal scuffing on the body

Does have a cracked front lower a-arm though...

Asking $400 with the a-arm fixed

Thoughts on that options instead?
