hey guys, i bought a Futaba 3pk, recently, and it said in the manual not to use commercial AA batteries in it

(i spent 40$ on 8 Rechargeable's for it before hand)

are there any problems with using these?

they're fine, F just wants u to buy their factory pack ;)

last time there was a 3PK & 3PKS on my bench, think i just fed them with alkalines

a "packed" batterypack with a flylead connection to radio's PCB is probably more reliable
than relying on 16 little springy contacts, especially if you try to recharge in-situ.

If using loose AAs i'd usually prefer to remove them to charge externally
then you get to inspect for any corrosion & there some
regular "self-cleaning" of the contacts too.
