WMAA Helicopter fun fly

Last weekend was the first time the Werribee Model Aero Club had put on a helicopter fun fly and it attracted quite a few Heli folks to their club.

Here's a few photos I took of the scale helis that took to the air that day.

Unfortunately I didn't get around to the static models to take any pics. There was lots of them as well and some with awesome details!

But, here's some more of the flying stuff...

Hard to fly and take the pics mate... so none of those are mine.

Actually as I'm still only hovering it may take some time before mine gets some forward flight.

Yeah, that Huey is Mario's... not my preferred style of Huey as it's the newer 212 model. But still, I'd take it off his hands if he wanted to give it away. :D

I agree Glenn, I've been fiddling at the edges for ever... still working on getting our B Model Huey fuse up and running. So far we've produced the body and tail. Now working on the doors and horizontal stabs.

The Huey in these pics isn't Ron's. His isn't flying yet and on the day I didn't get time to get around the static stands.... funny as Ron and I were set up side by side and it didn't even occur to me to take pics of his as I've taken plenty during his overall build.
Here's the Huey that I had at the WMAA day sitting waiting for me to put Sir Zoomer's decals on it.... if only there was more time in the day.

I couldn't fly it on the day as it has metal blades which aren't permitted under the MAAA rules.

The rest of the fleet is not getting the attention they deserve either.
