Just wondering whats the best way to keep your savage ( or any offroad
r/c car ) clea ?. I just used a bit of big red , soapy water and
a toothbrush. I then used a small bit of wd40 on the joints etc etc

I normally use the following routine.....

1) Blow off all excess dirt and dust using my air compressor.

2) Get a bucket with hot soapy water and a paint brush and go the hack on the hole truck. Just be careful not to splash the servos to bad.

3) Blow all the excess water off the truck with the compressor.

4) Soak the entire truck with Metho using a spray bottle. Metho absorbs water, so is great after a soapy wash as it stops water staying in the hard to reach spots. Let it evaporate on it's own.

5) With a damp cloth, just wipe any exces stains etc off the truck.

Thats about it.

Yea the air compressor is the way to go. I usually wipe it down then spraya little WD40 on the metal bits this creates a build up over time and actually helps stop muck sticking to your truck.
