VP Racing Car fuel syn/castor(KLOTZ-KL198), which contains 10% Nitro 16% KL198 synthtetic) and 4% Castor 4L- $22.75

Thats only like $6.01/L

Compare that to the HotStuff fuel MRC is selling on ebay, 16% Nitro 4L - $41.55

That works out to be $10.39/L

Why is there such a big difference? Anyone here have ever used VP Racing fuel??

NTC3,

Dunno, I was actually looking at there site today and noticed the same thing. That fuel seems very similar to HotStuff (they use Klotz as well), but is very cheap.

VP are very large suppliers of Nitromethane to the Top Fuelers.

Chris

yes, I've realized that 2 after searching through the internet, it seems VP makes all kinds of racing fuel, leaded, unleaded....etc

I have no idea y they are so much cheaper, perhaps they lack other additives like anti-wear, anti-rustagents...etc ??

I have recently switched and the change in performance was
noticable. I love the stuff, nice and cheap, plenty of smoke,
keeps the temps down. Awesome stuff.
