Yeah would be cool to see another track start operating, since Geelong ditched 1/8 which leaves Sunshine as the only 1/8 nitro offroad venue

Yeah I'd consider Bendigo and Castlemaine as I have family to stay with in Bendigo

Castlemaine & Bendigo are within a couple of hours drive but more clubs/tracks is always a good thing.

All I know at this stage is there is a potential second track in the west of Melbourne being investigated

I know we all hate the council red tape, but since the track is to be located on crown land, they will make you jump through hoops to cover themselves from any liability.

I think we'd all act in a similar manner when it comes to accountability and liability, it's a pity its such a long winded process with limited time and resources available

Before anyone jumps down my throat and has a go at me, I've seen similar processes done in other council's when I've worked for them (IT guy) and they generally get low priority due to it costing council instead of them making a wad of cash from rate payers

It feels great to actually see something happening.

Of course it would be an awesome feeling after such a long battle to find a viable packet of available land
