My Turnigy go-kart came from hobbyking today. Was $99 just needed to add rx and ESC and battery.

I have used my VXL ESC from my slash 4x4 and my sanway 2.4g rx. The lipo tray was supprisingly big so was able to fit my 2s 5800mah 30c zippy.

This is how how it came. Just needed to put "the stig" in the drivers seat.

I had the measuremants so I knew how big it was going to be. It is heaps bigger than the rally even though dosnt really look it in the pics.

I will have to make a video tomorrow!

It goes pretty dam quick. Tyres need to get warm before the grip well. When I hit full throttle with cold tyres it spins! Cant want to get it to the track or a big open car park or netball court!

lmfao didnt take ya long to get one, looks pretty good, wonder if 1/10th tyre warmers would fit on the tyres, would help with the grip levels right from the get go

3930kv, yeah it is fast! I think the motor is only limited to 2s but obviously the VXL ESC is capable of 3s! Might have to get a different motor to run 3s!

Yeah I know! When I bought it they didnt have many spares, now there is a full list of all the spares! Think Ill just order like 2 of every part just incase!

I have the 380 size VXL motor from my merv which I will try in it so I can run it on 3s!

L_D you are one up on me....never owned a Brushless Go Kart....looks pretty cool though.

You might want to look into some tyre treatment, it is like a traction compound, helps to make the tyres more grippy.

Tyre treatment hey! That all new to me! NEver really been into on-road cars that have GRIP! usually drift is my style! Ill have to look into it but any link would be helpful!
