Hi all,

Here's a video I took of Chris flying his awesome "Dragon" turbine jet around for a demo at the TMAC EDF day on the weekend.

He's a great pilot and its a very very cool plane. The noise from the low passes is just amazing

HOLY COW!!!!! WOW is right. That vid gave me a tightening sensation in the front of my pants. I would give up my right nut and change my name to Lefty just to be able to own a beast like that and know how to fly it. That is a freakin beast.

I just listened to the clip on my Hi-Fi and the sound was just so awesome. I could sit there and listen to that thing do low passes overhead all day. I wont even ask how much something like that would cost as I am sure it is out of my league.

Haha yea, it was awesome. He took it up another couple of times, but I just watched instead of videoing. The video doesn't quite reproduce the awesome sound that it makes when it hoons past 3m above the runway.

Let me tell you, all the dudes with the big EDFs (me included) were just sitting there twiddling their thumbs wondering how they could become as cool as Chris .

He had a twin turbine F-18 in the back of his van, but it wasn't ready for flight unfortunately .

Love his 8 point roll down the flight line, just before the landing. Hmmm... I should have added the Top Gun theme music!

How long for some one to go from never flown to capable of flying and landing a jet powered plane?

Depends on the pilot and their budget I suppose mate I know Chris has been flying for years, so I'm guessing that's how he got started.
