My Brother and I went to the Tugun Skate Park today. Its located right
at the northern end of the Coolngatta Airport runway. Its a big open
grassy place with an impressive skate concrete park, if there
wernt somany kids around ..... The good thing about the skate park is
that you can jump big out of the actual park onto nice grassy downramps
.... nice and soft landings.

I nursed my injured fantom around a bit, I managed a few jumps and a broken 13 tooth (again) ......

here are a few pics, this is my brothers savage flying,he didnt break ANYTHING at all today

Yeah,

My little brother was the pilot/driver in that pic and I removed him
from the image. I wasnt using my camera so most of the pics I took
turned out poor. I think I will be going back there next weekend for an
hour or so bash b4 family comittments take priority.

All I can say is if there is anyone from brisbane or the gold coast or
any of you southerns driving through call into the Tugun Skate Park,
its easy to find, just look for the northern end of the runway. You
actually cant hear your savage as the planes fly over head. They would
only be about 100 meters (not even) above your head ........

Cmon husky, all jumps are that big, u just have to hit them fast enough !!!!!

the quater pipe he is jumping out of stands around 5 foot tall with no
vert at all, but it is quite steep. The really appealing thing is
the large grassy down ramp ....

here is a pic of half of the skate park, I couldnt get the rest in. The
part of the park that is missing is the part we were jumping out of.

It's good to see that the T-Maxx came away undamaged... also good to see a Maxx owner who's willing to give one a beating.
