Travelling to UK drone Requirments

Hey there I am travelling to Scotland in two weeks with my Mini 3 Pro. I have registered with CAA for an Operator ID. Do I need to get DJI to unlock my Drone's GPS so I am able to fly there? I am NOT using the larger batteries so I am staying under 250g. (Stupid question as a newbie: But do I need Internet access through my fly app to fly in UK) Thanks Wayno

I would assume the DJI app/GPS gear would work anywhere in the world (ie not region locked) though I'm not 100% certain. Internet wise, I don't believe so but you may loose some of the in flight features, best way to find out is to try flying here without internet tuned on and see what it does, as it should be the same experience over there. One other thing to look at is if you will be taking it on as carry on or in your luggage with, check your airlines guidelines as it may be you need the drone in carry on but the batteries in luggage or visa versa. Anyway post up some photos of what you take over there, actually what you've shot over here too for what its worth.
