What connectors are you using mate. <aybe I can hook you up with something. I have TRX connectors here (knock off which I think are every bit as good) but I also have EC5 as well. Let me know if you want me to solder them on for you.
Nah no need, just ordered 10 traxxas connectors and some 6.5 castle bullets from amain. I'll get you to solder up them batteries and co I've been rambling about for months as soon as I get the connectors in.
Dude what are you on about? haha. I think this is in reply to a question I asked way back about PL wheels.
Snap, no not yet, I'm going to get Darko to do some soldering for me sometime then we'll be rolling. Just gotta find some spare time to see him though.
Nah I don't mind soldering too much. But 6.5 bullets and big wires are slightly above my skill level. I'm also getting 4 batts re wired so they fit in the revo better, and thats certainly something I don't want to try myself.
Well finally got my gear soldered up together, massive thanks to Darko, no more cut up battery doors and its running great so far. Can't wait for the bash tomorrow.
Thinking about grabbing a set of Badlands to put on a set of Rulux half ups from tower in the next week or so. Was wondering for those who have this combo did you glue in the bead or on the inside of the bead? Apparently gluing it on the inside makes the tyre firmer and perform better, but is a lot harder to do, does it give a noticeable enough difference for me to do it (I'll just be bashing)?
Well ordered my half-ups last night, and will order some badlands once they're back in stock at amain.
Also ordered 2 of the spektrum clones from target hobby last week so I'm a step closer to getting the SP1 and Mini Inferno going.
Half ups are 3.7 or more commonly known as LPR.
Crime fighters discontinued
Bowties discontinued
Losi xtt
Hong nor "X"
Lots of different jconcepts
All kinda racing orientated. That's why the MT badlands were great you could cut or stretch em on most lpr rims.
I Would look at getting some desperadoes or VTR
Possibly the new aka and JC Evo truggy rims.
I think with some mods to the half up the 3.8 badlands should work.
Thing is you can mod the rims and just fit em up without gluing and you will soon know if they will work or not. All you will be out is a set of rims.
