Ok, an old Alfa 156 racing body by tamiya, on a TL01 chassis,

body was all white when i got off mate, so i riced it up with some "performance decals
"

currently running a 16x2 off road mega motor, with tekin pro tempfet
esc forward only, hitec RX, with hitec servo, and futaba TX wheel
controller, chrome rear wheels, with tamiya super soft treaded tyres(
from S2000 kit
)

and running schumacher rims and tyres upfront, dunno what type but
there really soft and grippy, TL01 is in RWD at the moment due to
having breaking both front dogbones!!

hop ups include, carbon gear shafts, ball bearings, oil shocks, lightweight chassis, tierods,

also got some BLING BLING BLUE WHEEL NUTS

i plan on racing this car at STMCC in hobart any time soon...man, i bet
they will run after they see the front of the body....DEMOLITION
DERBY!!!

the term rice usually refers to

any modification to a vehicle that implies a increase in preformance but does not provide it

incorect badging or performance parts stickers on a car not equipped with said parts

exhaust tips big enuff to put you head in

rear spoilers taller than the roofline of the vehicle

any other expesive mod that is in bad taste. IE the gun grey nsx here in perth with a ally wing on top of the factory one.

and there is also a magna with a wing so big it looks like it take off any time soon..

and whats with having your car brand written in BIG letters across the
side...its not as if your going to forget what your car is..just wind
down window and have a look...

any how, im off to make an exaust....and a huge wing..lol...

Methink its not a "ricer" 'cos it ain't in immaculate shiny flawless condition.

Up here there's 2 groups of car kids.

You've got the stereotypical ricers whose cars are totally flawless (in terms of paint prep & no damage, I didn't mean flawless aesthetics!!) and you'd be lucky to see any dust on it let alone big ugly scratches & panel damage.

Then you've got the "racers"... yep, same cars (Civic, Integra, Supra, GTR/GTS, FTO etc) with the same stickers & the same big wings/exhaust/fibreglass addons... but their cars are all battle scarred.

The 2 groups don't seem to mix.

Occasionally though, someone organises "Asia Race" and all these owners go take their cars onto a local track. I went to 1 to watch, but it didn't turn out very exciting.
