I prefer the outbacks over my velocities, but SC didnt have the adapters in stock for months,I wasimpationt and wantedbig wheels NOW

The annodised purple looks sweet, and no more stripped rims, i had to epoxy my wheel adapters in the wheels to stop the stripping, anyways, lookin good

cheers

I certainly like the look of the bigger rims... so is a 'Big Joe' a tyre pattern is it? I thought it was a rim/trye combination.

Skidd,

The big joes are just the tyres.

OK then... question two (you'll find I'll always be the one to ask the dumb questions)...

Are there places that sell the 40 series sized rims with tyres already fitted? Or is the tyre selection and fitting something that you normally have to do yourself?

You have to buy the wheels and tyres seperatly. 40 series tyres have to be used on 40series wheels(size) They are made by proline. There are different combinations of tyre pattern and wheel style however the 40 series outback welds require the savage central adapters. 40 series Velocity rims seem to be most common and big joes tryes.
