Hey Gang,

Fairly new to the RC scene. Owned a few basic cars when I was a kid and then bought a helion invictus a few years back and made a mess of it then bought another second hand one this year and got to know the ins and outs so to speak and converted a second hand broken invictus (monster truck) into a working dominus (Trophy Truck).

Decided to buy a kit to build as I did enjoy building models growing up and I am currently waiting on a Tekno SCT410.3 kit to arrive this month and enjoy building and running it for a bit of fun.

Am very much a tinker type person and have recently bought a Hobbywing esc/motor combo with a program box only to find out that the OEM version I bought (Ace Power) doesn't support the LCD Program box and I have now 'locked' the ESC from being able to be programed from an external source (SC8-RTR)

Keen to chat to other like minded individuals and even look at meeting up with Brisbane based locals for a bit of fun and tech talk.

Cheers
Craig

Hey Craig,

Welcome to the hobby! It's great to hear that you're enjoying building and tinkering with your RC cars. The Tekno SCT410.3 kit sounds like a lot of fun to build and run.

I'm sorry to hear about the issue with your Hobbywing ESC/motor combo and the program box. It can be frustrating when things don't work as expected, but it's all part of the learning process. I'm sure you'll figure out a solution soon.

It's always great to chat with like-minded individuals and learn from each other. Have you considered joining an RC club or group in Brisbane? It could be a great way to meet other RC enthusiasts and share your experiences and knowledge.

Good luck with your build and have fun racing your new truck!
