Better for batteries - but the weight is probably riding WAY high now!

Very cool. Awesome little 1/18th running on 1/10th motors.

Anybody in MELBOURNE also after one of these TLT-1 Max Climber kits?

Brand new TLT-1 kit unbuilt unpainted.

Kit includes ballbearings, centre balldiff&gold alloy shockers. Max Climber hasblack-anodised chassis plates, SUV shell and red chromed wheels.

Anybody interested let me know pls - it don't look like I'll be getting time to build this before xmas.

i wonder if a novak brushless equipped max climber will have the sam problem a wild will has? ie no steering thanks to the front wheels being yanked in the air..

nah don't think so, the battery pack sits in 'front' as a counterweight.

The balldiff (centre) would probably slip too, when the front wheels leave the ground. For a wheelie machine, you'd probably want to spool it.

TLT-1 #1 was the Rock Buster, that came out start of the year.

Max Climber is TLT-1 #2 latest, its been out about 6-8 wks only.

Neither of them are coming to Oz officially.

I prefer the look of the Rock Buster, although the chassis looks a bit strange how one piece and so low to groundish.

Bit on the tempting side Zoomer although I'm not in Melbourne and my next month of pays is spoken for. If the Rock Buster is cheaper i may invest as I've been doin some research on the Team PRP chassis kit and Stampede gearbox conversion. I have a stampede sittin at home in bits

I can tell you my TLT1 is almost useless with the centre diff for any
sort of climbing. First major work I do to it I will be locking that
diff.

There's a sea of waiting between stuff "getting announced" and appearing on websites... to the actual shipping out of the factory doors my friend.

Wouldn't bet my $$ on it.

"Bet" is a good description too.
Sites like that will probably take your order & prepayment, then tell you they've got them "arriving soon" on order.

(Unfortunately I'm a Tamiya nut, so us nuts have contacts who tell us what's shipping out the factory door and when. Or just go read the Japanese Tamiya pages - they got all the "delivery" info there. That kind of info is never on the English pages... )
