Do people actually buy the Super Clod Buster?

It's the ugliest R/Cdevice I've ever seen. There's probably worse but I have limited experience.Edited by: josh

Zoomer,

I made a couple of edits so that I could post it as news. Hope you don't mind.

Having previously owned a Terra Crusher, I think Tamiya has hit the nail on the head with the TNX. Lighter, gotten rid of reverse, and picked up a real engine from OS. It is a very tidy package.

BTW, thanks for the post.

Regards,

Glad you guys are checking it out, folks.

For all you younger fellas out there... Clod Buster is a Tamiya classic... came out about 1986 and is based on some Chevy pickup. That new blue one doesn't seem very much different to the old one which was (1) box art painted red, (2) slightly less garish graphics and (3) I think the chrome shaker on the hood was smaller.

Clod Buster was the first of the large 4X4X4 Monster Trucks with twin motors and solid axles and took the world by storm. Many many thousands have been sold and it also started the customisation craze. Some of these modified trucks (eg Clodzillas) only use a few drivetrain parts from the kit, everything else is modded!
