MMMmmm all I can say is TITANIUM!!

Do all your cups and change to CVD's where you can. I've also gone to alloy diffs, bulkheads and gearbox... but that was just me.

Cruzn2,

Have you done the 2nd Gear Mod - that is installing the 2nd engagement pin?

I know a few blokes that have blown the bum out of the 2nd gear cog
with normal piccos. The RBModded one has the potential to tear it
apart.

Chris

LOL... you're right about that. Since I've had mine I've wrecked a 2nd gear cog and stripped the engagement lugs out of the 1st gear cog. Both within 15 minutes of eachother. Nothing like stripping the transmission twice in one tank to give you an understanding of how your truck works.

Doesn't sound like HPI really gave much thought to future
proofing their driveline components much beyond the original .21 motor.

Keep us informed mate... and don't forget that Rick advocates the "new" break in method of driving the engine in the truck from the start while keeping the temps up around 220 F. No more running through tanks at idle.
