Hey!

The other day I decided to get my Revo 3.3 and my Savage XL out for a run for the first time in a few years. I can't get them running. I've stuffed up the rotostart on the XL and I've misplaced the starter for the Revo. It seems very hard to locate pull starts for these motors, or they are quite expensive. So I was thinking that it might make sense to put that money towards new motors which have pull starts.

What motors would you recommend for each car? Will I have to buy new mounts? I don't want to spend a lot on these as I mostly run my 1/5 scale cars, but it would be good to have them running so my kids can wreck them instead of mine lol.

Have you tried on FB market place for a second hand engines ? I did a google search and most big block (for the Savage ) new engines are pretty pricey.. I have 2 savage trucks 1 has a RZ .32 and the other is an old .28 pro spec 8 port engine and i wouldn't even dream about going the pull start path. As for the Revo and don't know much about them.. We had on AusRc quiet a few guys running Revos. I have seen on FB market place people selling Savage parts on the cheap side...
