Hirisk,

Any of these guys "online"? If so, URL's would be good.

Thanks,

Unfortunately not,

But a quick run down.....

"The Hobby Man" in Dandenong are definately the Nitro specialist's and stock a large amount of HoBao(OFNA), Kyosho, HPI, Mugen, GV etc. They have heaps of good gear always in stock and there are some good guys down there that know there stuff.

"Metro Hobbies" are the guys to see for your on road electric gear and are an authorised Tamyia dealer. Theuy also stock a lot of the Schumacher Nitro cars. Very nice buch of guys, but not that into off road Nitro, more On Road electric and Nitro.

"Models and Hobbies 4 U" are OK, fairly small though. They don't really have much experience withh the Nitro stuff, but do have a lot of Kyosho gear in stock.

I think its at City Place in Sunshine, stone's throw from the rail station. But not totally sure of road name, I've been going there & all the other shops so often its like autopilot by now. If you're online best to just doublecheck on Yellowpages.com.au, take you 2 secs.

me? Nah, not a western guy, I just get around the LHSes a bit so I know where they are. Anywhere from Metro (east) to Hobbyman (southeast) to Mack's (west) to Melb Track (sth west) to Hobby Warehouse (Thomastown = north, but not worth listing) & everywhere in between. Hobby 4U not really worth visiting either; also there was one in Syndal but its now defunct I think.

Nah not really too hard. Trick is to just follow the BUSes!!! (as there's a bus stop right in front, to tie in with the rail station)

Was there myself this morning but not yet open @ 9.55am.

Since The Hobby Man does HPI, do they have any Savage parts?

Off-topic:

I just bought a Ho Bao Hyper 10 for a first car, just to race a friend as he doesn't have anyone to race. But now I want an off-roader too... And the Savage 25 looks like the one for me.

I just need to know if parts are available over here.

Thanks.
