Go to http://www.ultimaterc.com and on the news section they have the Kyosho Gigan.

It has dual .26 engines, or there is a model with one engine. It looks to have an intergrated roll cage and looks to be 1/8th or 1/7th scale. The hood scoop ont he front is funcional.

I think I might wait for it to be released and see the price compared to the Mad Force.

Personally I think it looks absolutely horrid under the body..

And why would anyone want two .21 kyosho engines when you can have one picco or one of a higher quality??

Youd be better off with a savage and a nice motor, ie RB 28, Fantom 27, Sirio 27
. Prolly cheaper and a much better truck. Ive seen a mad force in action and wasn't impressed with it, i wouldn't get a kyosho truckEdited by: husky

Its got STYLE, I'll give it that.

Tanks are too close to the pipes though. Their location reminds me of an XJ Jaguar.

Personally I wouldn't buy another Kyosho RTR. I boughtan Inferno RTR. The component quality is pretty good, but the construction is poor IMO. On mine, the clutch spring wasn't crimped and came apart, destroying itself in the process of course. And one shock had no oil in it. OK, neither is a big deal, and when fixed up, the buggy runs beautifully, but for the big money you pay for RTR, it shouldn't happen, and didn't happen in my either RTR's (Tamiya and HPI).

A Kyoshokit - yes please! But not another RTR.

WOW is that thing a three speed? I really like how the exausts are rear firing, would help keep the crap off the machine.

Husky have you seen the footage of the twin wasp .26 powered savage? will find it latter if you like....

Moldy Marvins twin wasp is sweet, but these are kyosho engines
. The mad force is also a 3 speed and it weelies too much with a 21!!!! so 2 26 seems a bit of a waste.

fyi Kyosho's 1/10 Readysetswere all built in Korea, probably using Japan exported parts.

Few mths ago the Korean factory has been closed down and moved to another whole country. All new factory, all new staff etc etc. Don't know when production starts here, probably around about now.

(perhaps some of the old Korean staff were a little less diligent in the lead up to their factory closure?)

1.it will be availible in dual engines or single engine format

2.you all think the engines are gs21's but there not they are actually a new kyosho motor the gs 26

3. kyosho will properly release it at a rc car show in japan in about2-3weeks

it looks great i have put all my plans on hold to get a mad force.i think i may get it but no sure must find out some more info first.

theres is one prob though early estimates believe that the single engine setup will be about 66000yen(about 850aus)and the dual about 77000yen

How much would it cost to get a Savage 25. For comparison between the two.
