Hi Guys,

Thought some of you may like to have look inside my WS7II engine.

I pulled it out of my MBX5 buggy for some routine maintenance. Once pulled down I found an unpleasant suprise.

See the red outlined section of the piston...



Here a photo of the piston and sleeve. It still has good compression...


Here is some photos of the sleeve, which has had some porting work done...

I have been extremely lucky, what ever it was that went through the motor and chipped the piston has not put a single mark on the sleeve!!

I will be giving it a good clean tonight and putting all back together. I wil have to smooth the top edge/corner of the piston where it has chipped just to make sure it does not score or scratch the sleeve.Edited by: HIRISK

looks like your running it hot...and yeh u are a lucky boy.. not to loose any compression on a real good engine..
