A post has been made in a thread, so it goes to the top of the recent/new posts list. Doesn't matter what the post is about, thats how it works. Deal with it.
deadset annoying to allocate recent posts off the page because some dickhead wants to bump his posts.
what are the moderators on this site doing about this/obviously nothing.
The DH was a moderator...me, and I was tidying up the For Sale section, it appears many forget to update their for sale posts, with things like Sold, so a lot of questions end up being read by the mods, and deleted before they ever see the forum (moderated).
Love it...maybe the new therory....just delete after a month....hmmmim hearing ya,anyone else?

i am sick of seeing for sale threads on recent posts.
find another way of sorting old threads out.

But it is a problem, its just not a problem that some of us make any noise about. I am with Victor on this one, I hate seeing for sell threads in the top 15 new posts box. But, lets face it, people are whining about a free forum dedicated to our hobby of choice.
So in the grand scheme, nothing that could happen to this forum is really that bad. If it goes i'll miss it but i wont lose any sleep.
I don't want it to sound like i don't appreciate what we have cause i do but thats exactly it. We as users don't have to put any time or effort into this place to keep it functioning.
That's another thing, most forums don't even have a 'newest threads' bit at all, so really, can you complain that much about it all.
