I did a search on this topic and nothing came up soo....

I was wondering if anyone has these official HPI centre front and centre rear universals.

Q1)</span> Has anyone used them and if so, a few words on their durability will be appreciated.

Q2)</span> I was looking for ways to reduce the wear caused to cups that hold
the bones due to bone backlash during acceleration and braking, is
there anything you can use (heavy grease, etc) to reduce such wears?

Q3)</span> These universals costs a pretty penny and I was wondering if they are
actually worth an upgrade, I am going more for durability not outright
speed.

also.. if your going for durability..

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND:

MIP CVD's! They are outstanding!

they have been on the truck ever since it was built, and not one has broken with me or the previous owner!.

The dog bones show NO WEAR at ALL!, the CVD end looks brand spanking
new!, and the normal dog end looks the same, however it digs into the
cup!

you will have the same problem with these universals, as one end is a stock end, and the other the CVD universal.

basically, i only need to replace 2 cups (tranny output), as these are
the only cups which seem to get damaged with me, not the diff outputs.

MIP CVD's ALL THE WAY!

M&B... Now that I can see the pic (no I never log on through a link), yes I have that CVD in the front. I can say that it's going really well so far.

I only got the front one as I have the extended chassis and the rear one wan't long enough.
