Got my maximiser beadlocks today and my first impression is " Holy
smuck, these things are TOUGH " They make the stock HPI hex area look
like marshmellow !

Anyway as I was installing them I decided to take pics for a bit of a " how to "

Here are all of the parts for one rim.

You can see the two "locking rings" the "faceplate" aswell as the inner
form the wheels inner, to whick the face place bolts up to. The pic
below shows how the wheel looks without rubber on it.

This image shows where the tyers " bead " is clamped or locked into
place. Its the same for the front of the rim and the back of the rim.

this is the first step i took, installing the first of the locking rings

about to install the second lock ring

now with both installed

now to begin installing the former, this also has the lip on it that
forms the rest of the clamping action for the back of the rim

former now fully installed

flip wheel over and begin installing face plate

Finished product front

And back

I dont know what they are made from but THEY ARE TOUGH. They seem
to be the wheel of choice for the crazy people who are in the
Outcast vids that u download from savage central. I doubt you
would ever manage to strip a hex,, but then again ...... The ones
in this post are the x75 series, giving a 25 mm wider wheel base.

I got mine from ebay but I do know that Monster Truck Parts Australia

has them or gets them in.

If you dont understand how they go together this pic may help

OK this post was only made a few days ago... shouldn't the pics be visable? Or are there still problems with that?

This post was made the night they did it to me again, and since then we have moved to the new server.

I will talk to Odum and get them reloaded. The legacy of my old host lives on.....

Mate, sorry... it was just more of a query as I thought I must have missed something. I sure do appreciate the effort you put into this site and I was just wondering... not requesting.
