G'day forum,
A quick question concerning Nitro fuel and engine break-in.

I have recently bought a new Thunder Tiger EB4 S2 Pro with the .21 stock engine and wanted to find out what Nitro fuel and mix to break in the engine with. The instructions state the fuel must have
-10-30% Nitro
-5-18% Caster/synthetic
I've bought a couple of O.S #8 plugs because i was told they like to run rich fuel/air mix which is perfect for run in.
Also has anyone run Magnum nitro fuel before in a buggy? a mate of mine runs it in his boat and swears by the stuff but i think boats run a slightly different mix.
Any help would be much appreciated :D

hey mate

iv been running all my nitro motors in on what ever % nitro mix you intend on using
once run in..... i raced rc cars many years ago before going over to nitro boats and yes boat fuel is different i like most of the guys i race with run 50% to 65% nitro and we set our head gap at .004 to .008 thou

so if you run 25% run it rich for a few tanks on and off the throttle with the boats ill run 6 tanks 12oz through the motor on the bench before the boat ever sees water

cheers
