I'm not sure if we are able to integrate this on AUSRC but on another VBulletin Forum that I am on we can "Tag" other members so that If I were to @ before a members name they would get a notification listed as a "mention"

The Reputations are also a + and - under each post and these are used more as a facebook "like" option

We also get notified if one of our post is quoted.

I am not sure if any of these are able to be used or if other members would find them useful however if its never mentioned it can never be thought about.

Hey mate,

They sound like an excellent addition. I will look into it.

I am currently planning a upgrade to the latest vBulletin (I am a few point releases behind) so I will check this out while I am at it.

Cheers,
Chris
on top of the above mentioned, I've noticed other vBulletins where you are able to paste the youtube link straight into the reply and it will embed automatically

also are our profiles able to have a "garage" where we are able to list our RC's and possibly even link them to the build threads so new visitors can see what members have and what they have done to them.

A "like" and "Un-like" button is a good idea with the likes box in the margin to the left of the thread. I don't think many use the rep star as much, I didn't even know what it was for the first 6months or so.

I quite like this idea.

Yeah, I have the mods downloaded and ready to install, but I am having heaps of trouble upgrading the site.

Now that I am on the new dedicated server, I have a full test environment, and I cannot get the 4.1.12 upgrade to finish. (currently at 4.0.6).

I want to get the latest vBulletin running before applying new mods. It is frustrating the hell out of me.
best of luck with getting through it!

we all appreciate all the work you do!
