How do u get in the chatroom? When i do try to go in,it says

The page cannot be found

The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

Please try the following:

Make sure that the Web site address displayed in the address bar of your browser is spelled and formatted correctly.

If you reached this page by clicking a link, contact the Web site administrator to alert them that the link is incorrectly formatted.

Click the Back button to try another link.
HTTP Error 404 - File or directory not found.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

Technical Information (for support personnel)

Go to Microsoft Product Support Services and perform a title search for the words HTTP and 404.

Open IIS Help, which is accessible in IIS Manager (inetmgr), and search for topics titled Web Site Setup, Common Administrative Tasks, and About Custom Error Messages.
So what gives ??

Funny 'cos I get the exact same message... but yet the board also shows that there is one member in the chatroom.... so it obviously works for someone.

I think the chat room uses Javascript. You may have to download the latest version.

The chatroom was experiencing difficulties so I have pulled it off the site for now.

Thanks,

whaddya talking about?

Just worked out... its IMPOSSIBLE to spend more than $1500 on a new PC anyway. Try this lot:-

P4 3.2GHz with the fanciest nanowhatchamacalit die

decent mobo fully loaded

512MB RAM DDR

nice videocard with 256M RAM

nice case with 450W PSU

DVDRW dual layer

160GB HDD

FDD

wireless keyboard & mouse
If any shop asks over $1500 for that lot, they're ripping ya off bad...

(if only I had $1500 spare & a good excuse, I'd like to upgrade the PC too!)

No but you can get over $1500 pretty easy by;

Increasing the RAM to 1026 Mb

upgrading to a decent graphics card with 512 Mb

getting a nice 19" flat panel monitor

adding a 2nd DVDRW so you can rip & write on the fly

and you'll definately need MUCH more than a160 Gb HDD
ausrc when first started had a chat room but it went corrupt and AUSRC took it away. i woulding mind it back actually. sames sending PM's and waiting for a reply when u need to go off and do sumthing.

is should be a main window for chatting and then u can talk individually.

that would ge great.
