charger



is this any good?..

is it worth that much..ive been told by a mate thats its really good
and has had no problems...yet anouther mate said he had blown 1 up...im
sure he did something wrong...

cause ive ready a review in racing lines on the charger and they say its very sturdy...and a very strong design

Ya, I think they're also sold under Ansmann and some other brands.


From all accounts, they do the job well on Nicad & NiMH as long as you don't need more than 4A current.


Can't complain for that price.

between me and a mate we have blown up 2 of em. mine started charging at 5 amps, then 6 followed by white smoke we paid 100 bux each for them at the time as well
. as it turned out both had a resisitor in them burn out hence the problem. lucky for us RMS gave us a store credit refunnd which i put towards my cdc and my mate a novak melenium pro.


at precc 3 other guys use this charger as well. 2 have blown up while the other charger keeps on going.





at 50 bux its cheap so try you luck and see

got me charger today.

so good so far...

seems to give the batt a bit more runtime and power than the old charger did

I didn't see this thread before, but for my 2 cents, I've got one as well and am using it to charge a 12V SLA for my starter box or up to 8 AA NiMH batteries at a time.

No problems so far, but only using 3A max charging on the 12V battery.

yeap i charge 3amp most..

i charged batt first with 2amp....

then i just took batt off then which was at 3amps...



but yeah its a pretty awesome charger..
