Put the new take-offs on the car today and took it for a run.

What a difference!

The new body, front diff and tyres make sooo much turn in, nice over steer and so much less understeer its not funny

Lots of lift off oversteer, (starting to feel like my wrx to drive
)goes real tight around my coke bottle circuit out in the cul-de-sac! Where the car used to push and push and push around the corners I am now doing my best to avoid hitting the coke bottles!! Woohoo!

One strange thing is the front left tyre has developed a patch where it has got little pinholes and chunks come out of the rubber, the other 3 are fine, most odd...

Sounds like you're doing too many RH turns...
assuming not a manufacturing defect, that could be symptom of blistering due to LHF tyre overheating.

Rotate the tyres for even wear.

Occasionally you find the odd airbubble or knot in the TO tyres... but it never seems to affect performance any noticeable way.

Can't see them when they're in the packet, so can't avoid them even if you inspect them closely at the shop.

is it like a ring around the inside of the tyre as well??.....or just
small chunks coming out?...one of my old set of tyres had chucks gone
all over...

ive had some tyres that make a ring around the edge of the inside tyre(that make sence?)

never took the inserts out to look inside the tyre to be honest

and now they are glued

its really just in one patch, small chunks and little pinholes, i think Zoomer may be on the ball with the airbubble or knot theory...

it works ok still so what the hey

not INSIDE the rim...you can see it on the outside.

the airbubble theory does sound right..

ahh waht the hell, tyres wear out anyway
