SG,

It is a great body, but in hindsight I think the utes are a better bet. For instance, without cutting a savage amount of the body away, I cannot start it with the lid on - can't get the glow warmer in. If I get a LLLOOONNNGGG glow warmer I might be able to do it.

That aside, I still think it is SWEET.

Hey Ausrc,

Just with regards to your comment about a long glow starter for the non ute shaped bodies.

Im getting the Proline Landcruizer body and I have already come up with
a soloution that dosent require any cutting. I got the idea from thew
tmaxx and terracrusher. U just have to run a cable from the top
of your glow plug ( I used a female pin of a computer power supply
, this clips straight on the top of my os 8 ) and from there I
just have the cable neatly cable tied to a place on the body where i
can get to it with an alligator clip. The other alligator clip goes
anywhere aluminium on the body and the circut is complete. However,
refuelling and tunig the carb might still be an issue with the big
enclosed bodies.

This means that u have to go back to using clipleads and not a glow
stick but Im working on something that will let me use my glow stick.

Have u had any cooling issues due to lack of airflow around the motors heatsink ?
