man got me some of those, charged em up, dumped them into the MRS4 and
boy does it go, i didnt realise how much of a difference they make
compared to cheap nicads.....man got over a hour runtime easy,
batteries dont get hot, motor not hot, but a few cracks in body, hit
one too many kitchen table legs..ahwell, it was fun,

by the way ive got tape on the wheels, ahhaah, funny to see how long to drift around table

Howdy

I was silly enough to buy one of the GV Mini-R. I ended up putting 5 x 2000 mahAA's in mine (got a custom pack made up by Battery World). These cars are a piece of sh*t in my opinion (wish I'd waited for an HPI, Duratraxx or X Ray) but the thing sure does go with those batteries At least in a straight line:)

I sure am a sucker for the little1/18ths. Can't understand why they haven't caught on more here.

Tonight I'm gonna order the Tam TLT-1 from Tower. Looks like a sweet little truck, and best of all it will take a standard 540. Should be a blast!

i think what it comes down to is that 1/18s are relatively expensive for what you are getting

agreed there....HPI micro is sweet..but to get it to go fast and good, it will cost more than a 1/10
