Had my Trophy 4.6 truggy for nearly a year now, and its been great.
But yesterday while driving it around i noticed something weird.
I would be accelerating, then i would put the brakes on to slow down, it struggled to slow down, and it sounded like the revs weren't dropping back down to...
Just wondering what you guys think.
I have a HPI Trophy 4.6 Truggy, a 1/8th scale, the stock servos are shocking. The brakes just don't grab well at all, and the steering is well under powered. I was thinking of putting either:

I am tossing up between an HPI Trophy 3.5 (A$400) and a Thunder Tiger S2 (A$300).
The S2 comes with a 2.4Ghz radio and few other nice bits (high torque servo, large shocks). Seems like a better product at a lower price - is this possible. Form the movie "Ronin" :
I've started to get interested with Nitro RC and i was wondering about what the first buggy i should get. After a bit of searching a came across the HPI Trophy 3.5 and was wondering if this is alright for a first buggy or not?
If not what is a good one?
Anything helps and i can go up to $500...
