My truck broke today, I smashed a rear 13 tooth in the rear and fixed it in the field

My brother smashed a fuel tank and also broke the plastic piece that
the tie rod screws into next to the wheel. He fixed the tie rod thingy
by swapping the piece with the other side of the truck.

I will post some pics shortly .....

What broke on the two other trucks Dan?

I was dying to get out, but I was previously engaged. Turns out I
couldn't have run my Savage anyway, when I was pulling the clutchbell
off I found my B021 bearings were stuffed (middles seized to the S25
shaft - and the balls just fell out as soon as I took the cluchbell
off. My clutch shoes were melted too, I'm due for some new clutch bits
before I can start the Picco.

On the note of breaking RC parts I had a brief crawl of my TXT-1 on
Saturday and I burnt out my front 645MG servo in about 10 minutes...
Now running on the Savage HS-2 stock steering servo at the front...

Yeah it's a great bash spot, and fairly central too! It would be
my pleasure to photograph your Savage Skidd. Though if my Savage was
working I wouldn't have my hands on the camera much.

LOL... well mate, if your meets are anything like our meets nobody really runs for the entire day.

Generally it's only a matter of a few hours before someone retires with something that's not a trackside repair. Although I must admit that my spares box now has most things covered.

This weekend between all of us we were able to fit the following spares to keep running; one-way bearings, rotostart housing screws (2 different people), 40 series rims, 1st speed gear in tranny, replacement diff, spur gear, front dogbones (x2) and that's only the stuff that I know about.Edited by: Skidd
