Blade 200s wobbles
Hi all, just upgraded from a Walkera coaxial helicopter (Lama 400D) to the Blade 200s FP.
I had no problem getting it to hover soon after removing it from the box and charging the battery.
One question, the heli wobbles.
Is this normal for a FP flybarless helicopter?
I am also using training legs (not sure what you call them).
I am only used to the coaxial and it didn't wobble at all.
The Walkera is also much bigger not sure if this has anything to do with it.
Any advice appreciated
Cheers
Rob

I've only lightly dabbled with Heli's, but I'd look at some YouTube vidoes on blade tracking and balancing.

Yes the coaxial by design is very stable. But limited in flight characteristics usually only 3 or 3.5 CH.
The flybarless is a few steps advanced over the coax.
I'm not familiar with the blade but does it have gyro stabilisation? Are there selectable modes like beginner, acrobatic, 3d?
Many with lots of heli experience say the larger models are less twitchy and more stable for learner to intermediate like me.

Hi
Hi guys,
Yes it does have beginner, intermediate and advanced settings. Not sure about gyro.
I guess you could say it's a bit twitchy, I'm not used to it.
After watching youtube videos, it looks like fairly normal behaviour for this size heli.
thanks

Yeah I had a quick read on them. The 200s has the 3 settings. Beginner, intermediate and expert.
yes it has a form of gyro as it has self righting if you get a bit out of control, it corrects enough so you don't crash.
