Hi,
My daughters and I are building an underwater ROV and I am seeking some advice on selecting the right combination of transmittor and receiver.
It has x3 12V brushless motors:
- x2 for forward / reverse with a mixed channel to enable them to steer the ROV left and right
- x1 mounted vertically to lower /raise the ROV in the water
I would like to use an RC transmittor to control not only the thrusters but ultimately would like to add other funtionality such as a robot arm, on-board camera etc. The cat5 tether will act as the arial by the way.
I have purchased the motors and ESC's
My question:
Can I use an existing transmittor (Helion HRS-3.1) and purchase a 9-channel receiver (like a Turnigy brand) with the view of later purchasing a 9-channel transmittor (Turnigy 9X)?
