    Shock Towers & Rezzies

    Hi All!
New to the Losi 5-T and this forum so please excuse my ignorance. I have a quick question- are the stock shock towers sufficient for bashing needs on the 5ive-T or is it best to upgrade them? Have my Truck torn apart at the moment waiting on parts (haven't even run it yet! ) and thought I might as well upgrade them if need be now rather than later.
Ill be running the Threshold Rezzies and I believe this eliminates a lot of the aftermarket towers like the Modified RC etc. due to clearance issues? I liked the look of the GFR towers but I believe he's closed up shop.
Would be grateful for any advice from anyone on this or recommendations on Towers that will work with the Rezzies.

Ahh most of the large scalers are on large scale Downunder now, well the over 18 year olds anyway.

I'm running the mod Rc towers with the rezzies and tbh the rezzies are a bit of a pain in the arse. I reckon they would have been better to be similar to the Baja ones
    1 x HPI Baja - 3 x HPI Blitz - 2 x HPI E10
    2 x AE SC18 -1 x Traxxas Ken Block Rally
    1 x Losi 1/24 SCT - 1 x Tamiya VDF Gold
    1 x build in progress Losi 5ive - MGM, Lehner 3080
    1 x HPI EBaja - Castle Cremations

IMO Shock Rezzies aren't necessary (sorry Godles. LOL) especially for bashers. Stock Losi shocks are great as they are you just need to play around with spring tensions & oil weights to get it just right for you.

The stock towers are fine as well. The Losi 5ive is the toughest out of the box large scale RC. Unless you want bling or light weight carbon fibre.
Better to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission.

    Hi Godles!

So the threshold Dessie's fit on the modified towers? Was under the impression they wouldn't without cutting some of the rib material away? Are you able to post a shot? Thanks!
