    6c battery reading 5c.....

Hi all. Recently purchased a (used) HPI Vorza, which came with, amongst other things, 2 x 6c 22.2v batteries. First time i went to charge them, my imax charger showed they were both running on 5c .... Now reason for the post.
    1) is their any way i can discharge then re charge back to 6c?
    2) the esc has just shat itself, would this be a result of the 5c battery?

    Any advice/suggestions greatly appreciated.

Have you checked it's not your charger that's faulty?
Strange they are both only reading 5cell

A dodgy battery could have helped kill ESC.
    Also may not have.
    They do fail unfortunately.
    For many a reason.
If LVC isn't set correctly battery's may have run too far flat which killed batteries and ESC may not have liked the low amperage from flat packs.

The easiest way to check the LVC on the Vorza ESC is plug it into a Castle Link and run the Castle program on a computer, alternatively, you can use the Castle Field Card which requires no computer, either way will allow you to access settings and features and reprogram the ESC

It can be done through the ESC by counting lights and so on, this option only allows turning on LVC or turning it off, it doesn't allow you to manually adjust the voltages
