Those from the Melbourne crew who know me will confirm that I am a fan
of the "bigger is better" philosphy and since ordering my Raptor 50 on
the weekend I have been dreaming about the possibilities of getting
into 'Big Scale' stuff.
got to play with a scale FA18 twin induction turbine jet todat. Will be ready to fly in 3 months and ill get to possibly fly it as im the "most qualified" since im the only one at uni with a sim
If you are going that big, I think you need to check your MAAA
insurance... I don't think you are covered. Also, I think the
heli has to be certified by the state CFI before being allowed to
fly... I THINK!!!

My goal is the Len Mount UH-1C fuse which is just a shade over 2
metres (208cm), with the scale blades fitted the overall length will be
over 3 metres. ATM I'm heading for the vario gasser mechanics but
I'm also really
tempted by the jet turbine as in the pic below... true scale stuff.
I'm in 'tentative' negotiations with someone about the exact kit
above, which is exactly what I want to get... but I almost hope it doesn't come off as I can't afford
it. The problem is it's almost 1/2 normal price so it's too good a deal
to pass up.
