Some of you may have seen "My Revo Addiction" but I needed somewhere to put everything else.
So here it is my "Everything Else" thread.
I have other models in my fleet other than the revo chassis.
All of them were offroad but I bought my first onroad chassis chassis last week.
I will get some picks up of each model over the next couple of days.
Ye the tools are good but are bloody noisy (air) and also need a decent compressor to run em continuously.
I had to do it at work coz my home compressor is a piece of junk.
Ironic that I work on big air compressors for a living but my compressor at home is a $99 job that struggles to pump up a bike tyre.
LD my rattle run is a cheapo super cheap job.
Works well enough for what I need.
Most cheap air tools will keep a single phase compressor running constantly or cycling quite often.
Better brands of tools will give same performance with less air use and less noise.
You don't need to drain the air out of the tank when you are finished with it.
Only need to drain water out of the tank and out of the moisture trap if applicable.
Compressed air is not a very energy efficient practise.
Don't drain tank after use and repair any leaks if you can hear them.
This is my RC18B factory team.
Bought it as a assembled kit converted over to the RC18MT monster truck.
It came with all the goodies to convert it back to a buggy.
Runs a Spektrum micro rx
Hitec hs65mg
Losi 6800 kv
Hobbywing 25a speedy.
Got Cvds in the front.
Alloy steering bell crank.
Went to OZRC models today and came out with a set of hex adaptors to fit 1/10 wheels on it.
Wow :O
Yeah that track has some pretty dusty surface, I think it's decomposed granite. I've gone there a couple of time when it was dry and the dust that gets into the car is crazy, but at least it just blows off. Not so much when it's wet though apparently, lol.
Think I may have to strip it all down and give it a good clean.
I got some new parts for the SCTE on the way so ill pull it down to fit all that.
Also plan on pulling out the 1/8 combo out as I now need another speedy.
Got another coat of blue to go. Ill get a pick up soon. Can't wait to peel the protective coating as its hard to see through the niko pen on the outside.
