    Gold Coast baja bashing

So, I've had my baja 3 months and only used it 3 times
Ive been out of the loop for a while and ive lost track off good spots to bash

Anyone know of decent spots on the Gold Coast or surroundings to take large scale off road? Nice open dirt areas and a few jumps

Maybe even catch up with a few people

I'm surprised that no body replied, AFAIK there are 2 Queensland tracks, one north and one south of Brissy........ Can't confirm it myself but I'm sure there is somebody around that knows of them
    1 x HPI Baja - 3 x HPI Blitz - 2 x HPI E10
    2 x AE SC18 -1 x Traxxas Ken Block Rally
    1 x Losi 1/24 SCT - 1 x Tamiya VDF Gold
    1 x build in progress Losi 5ive - MGM, Lehner 3080
    1 x HPI EBaja - Castle Cremations

I know of nothing on the Gold Coast that would suit Bajas

There is a track at Belmont QORLS
and another at Wacol but again, not sure of the status of Wacol, is was originally BLSO and there has been talk of it re-opening but I have no firm knowledge of when this is happening.

Brisbane weather has been absolute rubbish for many months, and most tracks I would assume pretty wet as a result, I use local creek banks and parks for a quick run lately, but be aware, we have had a lot of localized flooding, so debris and sink holes are present, I walk the creek bank before I use it to find the problem areas.

There is also a new track due to open at Brendale, close to the on road track, and a sprint car (quarter scale) at Elimbah near Caboolture

    Thanks for the feedback fellas
Not so much looking for tracks, more of just a nice open area where I thought a few blokes would take their buggies out for a bash

All the good spots I knew of have built on since I was last out

I live down at the goldy but I don't know of any good bash spots, I up to Brizzy to play with mine. I have been meaning to get to a bit of secluded beach to have a bash but keep running out of time.

At the moment there is abit of construction in the coomera area (Coomera City). They are in the process of leveling the ground to start the foundations. There are quite abit of jumps and makeshift birms there. Big open area. Wont be there for long. Ill post a map and update you guys on the area once I get home from work. Id be keen to take my 1/8 EB4 down there for a hiding.

The highlighted red bit is the area im talking about. There is a closed road. But you can get access via city center drive.

I had my tmaxx trucks out there the other week
I'm in Coomera so,it's just around the corner

I normally go out behind the concrete plant just up the road from there
It's a deadend street so I can tune my onroad cars but there is also a large dirt area there for the baja tho its a bit grown over now

There's got to be somewhere around that's good for a baja, needs to be out of the way of residential cause there so fu*kin noisey!!!

went out there on Saturday arvo, had a good bash around for 1/2hr or so

As usual my nice clean baja came back to my garage looking like it had just been thru a dust storm! Time to bust out the air compressor

No jumps but just a few dirt/dust tracks to tare around on aswell as a "pit" that is being worked on I had a few laps around there too

BLSO track... Im working on getting that open again. this time all scales and fuel types. hoping to put a crawler track in as well. If there is enough interest possibly a 1/16 rally track and a 1/4 scale speedway.
