That's a good point Zoomer, this would have been a logistical nightmare for the tobacco companies to get the legal stock in place in the right time frame

you boys do realise them koffin-nails aren't even real tobacco anymore,
they take the leaves & brew them to extract a "tea" which is then
sprayed onto blotting paper which is then dried & shredded.

i'm amazed nobody bothers using "cigarette cases" anymore,
plenty of nice antique silver ones sell for cheap in heirloom shops

the reason people used to use cigarette cases, was because the tobaco wasn't 'ready rubbed' and it was a lot more moist.
rolling them the night before meant the tobacco had a chance to dry out a little.
these days the tobacco is too dry already.

I know for a fact that the tobacco has changed too....I got back on the rollies 2 weeks ago....first pack I had was the original port royal....then I got the spew green packet and I noticed straightaway that

The Tobacco didn't have as strong of a smell that it did before
    Alot more yellow in colour
    Alot dryer
Gives you sick feeling when yousmoke it

    It's bloodybullcrap what they doing

And you'd probably think that it's harder to notice the difference with tobacco but its not ...I smoke 3 50g bagsa week'
