G'day, I have just started getting into the rc boats and live in Launceston, did you have any luck finding a club? If not it would be good to organise a run with another boat.

    Cheers Roger

All I could find. The last link is for a hobby outlet in tassie, They will know who is running where.

Have a look at a UBD (Gregories) for your town and look for a body of water near by, have a run. People will follow or will be there anyway.

Come to Lake Centenary in Temora to run your RC boat. Free BBQ's, power points, great amenities with hot showers, a childs sandpit/play area and lots of shade sails around the lake edge. It's 2km out of town, fresh water and gas boats are welcome.

I dunno about boat clubs but I would be going to Clarence point pontoon at high tide....
Perfect for stupid speed runs.....and if you get bored with running the boat have a good fishing sesh....great for gummy's and flatty's up the Tamar..

It's not exactly on your doorstep (bit over half hour) but it's a good excuse to have a day out...

G'day Rossco. My name is Owl and I hope to be settled in Tasmania by xmas. I run 35cc. circuit boats. I'm looking to buy a house in the Launceston area and would like to make contact with anyone to get to learn who's who and where i can go. I googled the pontoon you spoke of and looks good. Would'nt mind a chat if it can be arranged.
    Regards Owl.
