As you all are aware the King RC Shakedown series has commenced, I have started the point score for all three classes and they will be posted here after each round.
The competitors who place on the day all receive a trophy kindly made and donated by King RC and at the end of the series there of course will be overall winners for the three classes and they will receive a series winner mounted plaque.
Once again thanks to Callan for his effort and support !
A special thank you must go to Franco for his efforts each race day with the computer and timing system, he is also hosting the race results from the timing system and the point score.
Running multiple classes is achievable provided everyone has an open attitude and remembers its not all about them (of course this doesn't apply to Kev ).
Then we will have people chatting whilst marshalling LOL, look at him take the turns so fast! Is there something wrong with his back tyre? Nah don't think so
If the marshalls constantly scan their area and have some sort of idea what car is where on the track then its fine
I was thrown back onto the straight when I flipped just before the tabletop! That's 5 corners behind, what can I say....lol
Yeah that is rather poor form, at the drivers briefing it should be re-iterated time and time again what is expected of a marshal, especially that the car should re-enter the course as close as practical to the location it left, without giving it any advantage.
Ok, since the computer takes care of who has to marshal, marshalls to be called over the Mic prior the next race, if your name has been called and you can't Marshall you will oneed to ask somebody politely if they can take your spot at marshaling, if not, well then your marshalling
could it not be put into the conditions of racing that you need to marshall 1 for 1 during the race day, for every race you run, you marshall one. if you dont fullfil your requirements, you are ineligible to receive any prizes for that day.
c'mon guys, other people marshall your races, have the common courtesy to marshall theirs. there shouldnt need to be this much discussion into it, it needs to be done, so do it!
just a suggestion for this series to see how it goes, from next open day.
can we try that you, have to start the race and finish for a place 1, 2, 3, .. and then most laps after that for the other placing's..and if only one car finishes then the placing are still given by laps to the rest of the order 2,3,4,5 etc.or if no car finishes then still by laps.
even if your car breaks but you repair it and finish, and you still get more laps than the rest that also finish , you still get a position.... 5 finish the race but positon's are still awarded by laps .so long as you start the race and finish.
i just think there has to be some reward for those who's car's can get around there for the duration of the final.
I could go in to many reasons why but immediately I think of all the work and effort I went to with the rules and the fact they are approved and sanctioned.
maybe. if 3rd drops out with still 5+ laps ahead of 4th and 7odd minutes to go he still can get thrid etc if the car's ahead of him don't have more laps accumilated, if he gets back on the track and finish'es that is.
I have uploaded the Pointscores for round 2 that Dean sent me, same filename and location... so the links from post 1 will will get you round 2 now. If you have any problems remember to refresh the page or clear your cache.
John, You still having a problem viewing the pdf's ??
Or any one else for that matter ??
If necessary i can upload them with a different filename, this will eliminate the problem but create a new one because the links in Dean's first post will no longer work.... unless he edits the post.
Note links are the same, so you WILL NEED TO RELOAD THE PAGE.
