I thought it was about time I posted some pics of the CNR Beadlocks
that I have finally fitted to my FG Monster Truck. They are
    expensive... but nice!

Here is the FG rim beside a savage rim.

I also bought the adapters to get them to fit onto a savage... now that will look awesome!!

Only they were T-Maxx adapters and not Savage ones... DOH!! But I'm sure I'll get it figured eventually.

Total invoice was just a shade under $500 USD, the rims by themselves
were $350 USD and they wanted $120 USD for shipping to Australia.
Then of course you have to buy the new tyres and foams.

    thats not so bad.

the ones i was considering were 400 pound + tyres and inserts.

i think for the money yours look alot nicer.

and if your serious about wheels the car then the expense is nothing to stress about.

im waiting ofr my MT to arrive so i can start ordering all the sexy bits for it

hydraulic brakes is the #1 thing on my list, then a tuned pipe.

any other good hop-ups you can suggest?

LOL... well mate if money is no object then I've got a few parts you can have at a *special* price.

By most peoples measure the price I paid was over the top, I say this
considering how much it would cost to have a set custom made here in
Oz. The is no way I'd be shelling out 400 quid!

If you are going to be doing any jumps with it, then I would suggest alloy engine mounts and lay shaft carriers.

hey guys, ive decided against new brakes, as i only bash with mine.

i can recommend an alloy spur gear carrier, and steel pinion.

and watch them bloody little screws that hold the front wheel hubs on, mine fell out twice, put a stop to my truck running.

if you go to www.oneillbrothersracing.com you can order a relatively cheap big bore kit and a stuffed crank, have put mine in last night, still running it in. i will get some alloy motor mounts as i can see the plastic ones getting stripped.

id upload a picture of my MT but it wont let me do more than 75k

    also, check out http://www.aspracing.com.au/

LOL... yes, the front hub screw of which you speak are the very ones
that ended Jected's drive of my FG prematurely on Sunday.
