that's one awesome looking car...the more i see this thread the more i want to sell my toys to get one. if my dog didn,t cost me 2k i would of had one by now, $hit happen's i guess hopefully next year i should have enough for one.

last time i saw this car was at ssme, looked awesome all the elcon's together, and i always liked the way callan's one looked and went.. did it need a rebuild or were you just a bit bored and decided to rebuild it. was it to bring it up to the 2012 spec?

how are the rebuild cost are they reasonable ?

It the first real bit of matenance I have done on the car since I have owned it
So it's getting all new bearings
Kingrc now has trick bearing kits for elcon mmx

So the cost to rebuild is bugger all
Just some diff oil
Bearings
Shock oil

They are very cheap to run there is no up grades for the car like a hpi or mcd ect
they are strong as and super reliable

build it right with a G4Z engine and it will do you for a very long time and have bags of power

got a bit more done this arvo

have to do some rewiring and heat shrinking now

decided to fit my G4Z stage 3 240 23cc engine it makes more than enough power for one of these cars considering they weigh in at around 10.5 KG with a full tank of fuel and battery race ready

my car has been seen wheel standing down the back straight at some tracks after hitting small bumps

so yeah the G4Z gets the job done wether is a stage 3 240 or stage 2 270

the stage 3 has the same port work as the stage 2 but the stage 3 uses a full circle high enertia crank with carbide inserts made from billet

Not at the moment mate the body is still in good nick despite all the t bones and head ons it's copped
And I love the colour scheme too much to change any way

Plus I just bought a new 1/5 on road car that's due soon and a 1/10 brushless sc truck so have to slow up on the spending for this month
