You could try the Power HD Metal Gear Servo (12.2kg/.16sec) from HobbyKing. $10 plus postage. I'm running one in my Slash and it seems fine.
2075's are good but the plastic gearing made me give up on them.

funny about the 2075, my stock one is still going strong after nearly 2 years.
I was thinking about the Savox SC-1258TG, they seem to have a good rep and the figures are good too, 0.08 sec/60°, 166 oz-in / 12 kg-cm.
    Thoughts guys?

Have a looksy into the Savox brand. I have a SC-1268SG in one of my Savages and the thins is an awesome servo. There are plenty of options but I recommend for you the SC-1257TG. 0.07sec/60deg speed and 10kg of torque. Also titanimu gears as well. Can be had for $60-70 from ebay.

Alrighty then, now to find some money haha. Even since my birthday in July I've pretty much had a constant stream of things coming from various hobby shops around the globe, not that I'm complaining though

I'm now running 2 of the savox servos. The 30kg one in me baja:d for the hydro brakes mainly

And I got a 15kg odd one or so for steering in me elec boat. Might be slight overkill lol but it should crack 100kmh so dunno how much force is needed for steering at that speed lol
HPI Baja 5B, TS Reed with ESP 27.2 top end, 3PK and lotsa go fast goodies.

Well just 2 months after I said the 2075 in my slash was going well, it took a dump on me tonight Just after I rebuilt the shocks.
So anyway thinking about getting a Savox SC-1258TG for it, this should work pretty well in the slash shouldn't it?

Yeah there not the best servo... have them burn out all the time, I've got the 1257tg in my 4x4 with the 1/8th power house in it and it handles it fine , difference between the 1257 and 58 is the 57 is a little faster but less torque.

Either one is fine, you really don't need the speed of the 57, I just like stuff thats overkill, my friend has the 58 in his 4x4 and it's got plently speed, I'd rather torque over speed.

Haha nice , yeah this hobby is slowly sending me broke, I got cars all ova my room , I have to share my bed with some, mum trips over everytime she comes in here, I've got em hangin from walls, ontop of my ps3, in my clothes draw , its ridiculous! and I still want more haha

haha yeah, know what you mean, although mine are reasonably organized out in the garage. I had to relocate as mum kept complaining about the dirt being inside, haha.

you guys think you got it bad with rc stuff everywhere..... try fitting 2 56inch boats, 3 bandits, a 55o size heli, a trex 500, 3 mini titans and about 20 built planes that all have a wingspan excess of 1.3m AND a 1/4 scale f18 fighter jet
