Thanks Geoff and Pete,

I am still looking at one of these, possibly as a Chrissy present so finding all the extras that I could grab straight off will be handy as I'd like to build the kit and include them in the build. I contemplated the extra front end to allow 4ws but for a day to day basher it wouldn't be needed and would cost way to much to strengthen again.

The wraith is a great toy. Mine is the kit version it was good to build and coustomise. Vanquish parts are sweet there is so a cheaper brand called topcad that look not to bad. Dont know if id bother with 4ws they have a good turning circle with uni's in. You can come round and have a look at mine if you want

I saw your one a while back, I also think Stephoon grabbed one when they came out.

have you had any issues with it? what electrics did you go for?

I would forget the dig, as the crawl capability of this is rather poor anyway and a dig is not going to improve it much.

I did Luke, used it twice and sat on the shelf since. Kinda want to get rid of it but......I might use it again.

hey guys, what do u think is the best esc/motor, pinion and spur combo for the wraith that is good in crawling as well as the speed? got mine last week and cant decide which one to buy as i have no idea yet...thanks

I run a Mamba Max Pro and a Novak 18.5T sensored motor on 3S in one Wraith and a Novak Rooster ESC and RC4WD 35 turn brushed motor in the other on 2S.

If I end up with this kit I will be mainly using it down at the beach with the pups and the GoPro

I've heard the brushless set ups aren't as waterproof as the 27t brushed set up........ we do also have a full rockwall so the crawling capability would be nice (especially with the GoPro weight on it)

Sensorless brushless is ok with water, its just most sensored brushless are not, i think off the top of my head, the latest X20 LRP motors have waterprooofed sensors in the motors. 17.5T brushless would give you a nice turn of speed as well as enough torque for basic trail run type crawling.
