    Cool Pyrad with Hostile MXT's

being a whingeing pommie git I wanted more grip for running on my track when it's all soggy, I'd tried badlands but they weren't enough so figured I'd try the rear mxt's. had to put them on rear desperados (10mm wider but stretch on easy enough) as the 5t rims have too narrow offset, used proline 5t foams. Also had to make my own hpi adapters by filing a square in nutech adapters again for more offset...the hurrax adapters don't work with the new style steering arms. track width is exact same as with the pyrad pin tires on. I'll try it as is but think I'll need to gear down to 28/57 as these are nearly 195mm tall.

I took it out a couple of days ago and it's bogging off idle , I'm using a laut 4 shoe clutch but I've had trouble with this one, I run 1 in my nutech and 1 in my rampage and they've been fine...this one is ok til it gets warm then engages at about 6k and sometimes less so i'm going to try a new zen clutch with 8k spring to see how that works then see if it still needs gears... i figured as the tires are a bit bigger than stockers one tooth down would bring it back to stock gearing. i will say the tires work awesome..grip is insane and the pyrad now corners like a slot car
the paint job was supposed to be chrome and red like the mclaren F1 cars but fastkrome is actually silver...next time I'll use spazstix chrome

Managed 1/2 hr this time before I ran out of talent and had a bit of an accident, broke an upper arm and bent a front shock shaft...i expected a lot worse cos it was a pretty bad un...
clutch works better but definitely could do with lower gears not sure whether to go 27/58 or lower, does anyone know the zynit gearing...I need to be between that and the pyrad's 28/57
