2010 Series wrap up

After a good fun day racing at Belmont, the series has come to a close after 6 rounds of racing at Gympie and on our new home ground at Belmont.

The final race results are as follows.

1st place is DPS Kris taking out the $300 voucher.
2nd place is split between Craigs1977 and 5Tom for the $200 voucher.
3rd place is Rick Baja for the $100 voucher.

Well done everyone and thank you Kris for your support for the series. Thankyou to Kenny and Fiona for the BBQ's and soft drinks, Brenda for taking care of the front reception and to the rest of the boys for the track maintenence and setting up the container the way it is today.


The winner of the HPI Baja 5T RTR package was drawn today at the end of the race day. The winner is Garry O'Moore from Bulimba! Garry was contacted on the phone today with the good news and he also recieves 1 full year of membership to QORLS for free. Congratulations and hope to see you racing soon!

Next year will be a whole new year for QORLS including new lap timing equipment, watering system, improvements on the container and a whole new racing format to use. QORLS has a complete racing schedule for next year and will be going online very soon for new dates of racing and practices.

Don't forget, there will be a Social day on the 12th of December at Big Kart Track for some social go-kart racing - $85 per person. Please see the relevent thread for more details.

18th December is the Fuel Endurence Challenge - 600mL of fuel for maximum laps, Winner takes the the jackpot!

Once again, thank you to every member for your support and see you again for the new 2011 racing series in offroad large scale racing!

I would like to Thank QORLS for great racing and organization.
Rick for great designed track, Brenda ---!! We could have not done it without You. YOU ARE GREAT! Ken and Fiona for the BBQ’S and the little Man - Tom - your hart is in the right place You rock!!! Great job little Man!! Trevor and Jason for always being there – we all love you.

It has been great pleasure to be involved with QORLS. I am looking forward to next year.
