Thread: New Hurrax OR-6
13-12-2010, 11:05 PM #21
Hi it is very good to hear feedback from other side of the world.
The DPS OR-6 Hurrax is slightly different to the V-2 extreme that you can buy in Europe.
I have been working on some upgrades with Sebastian and some are made by DPS and fitted here in Australia.
We are testing two different style brake systems at the moment.
Two stainless steel discs with Carbon fibre pads (will be standard on new V-3 DPS cars ) and hydraulic brakes that will be placed at the front and back of the centre gearbox for more serious drivers. (Available soon as an upgrade from DPS only)
We placed the disc brakes away from the wheels as we found that dirt / grass got stuck in the discs. In the centre - the brakes are protected.
The hydraulics was designed by Mecatech the rest is made here in Brisbane by DPS.
Your ideas are welcome. We can only better the Hurrax with driver’s feedback.
Here are some pictures. Stay in touch.

thanks for the welcome. some nice upgrades there. It's nice to own an rc where the factory welcomes feedback and is continuing to develop and improve their models...I wish it'd stop raining here so I can get some tanks thru mine
